brief
To undertake the programming of a Compaq / KPMG Consulting Alliance Intranet site, commissioned by The Opus Group.
The site needed to be secure so that only authorised employees from the two companies could have access to sensitive information within it.
The client also required full visitor intelligence, gathered each time an employee logged into the site.

solution
In order to meet the clients requirements, we developed the site using ASP / database technology.
As all the text content was stored in a database it allowed the client complete control over updating the site - posting the latest news bulletins to the alliance members, for example.
The database also captured exactly which alliance member looked at the site, when and what pages were viewed etc. - information which would assist in the future planning and development of the site.
An online 'Administration Section' was also developed to allow the client to change user names and passwords to control access to the site.
